Newborn Cloth Diaper Rentals

Diaper Lab's Newborn Cloth Diaper Rental program is a fantastic way to cloth diaper during the first few months, before a baby is ready to use some of the popular one-size diapers.

We currently offer several different rental options that vary in price and composition which range in price from $200-$475 in total for three months.  Each package includes enough diapers to exclusively cloth diaper a newborn for 2-3 days before needing to launder. Additionally, each package includes needed accessories including a pail liner, detergent, rash cream, and fleece liners. Upon return, customers are eligible for a $50 store credit, if everything is returned in acceptable condition.

Diapers in the rental are a combination of new and used diapers in excellent condition, based on what we have available. Colors/prints, closures (hook and loop and snaps), as well as exact brands will vary from package to package, but we endeavor to provide a variety so customers have a chance to try different options. Rentals must be arranged in advance - ideally, providing us 4-6+ weeks notice before baby’s due date. We will have the rental ready for pick up or shipping by the start of week 38 of pregnancy. Early- or late-arriving babies, multiples, and other special circumstances are usually able to be accommodated.

Attendance at our Intro to Cloth Diapers workshop is required prior to package purchase. Rentals can be picked up in person or shipped about two weeks before baby’s due date. Rentals may be returned in person (preferred) or by post.
